Over the last two weeks, I’ve been thinking a lot about dreams and manifestation. Not in a vague, wishful way, but in the sense of showing up daily and pushing forward even when there’s no immediate result. There’s a lot of advice out there from people like Elon Musk or Marc Andreessen that leans toward pure execution over introspection. And while that mindset works at a certain level, I’ve realized that for most of us, taking time to reflect matters. Figuring out what you actually want, your mission, your direction, that clarity becomes fuel. Once you truly know it, then you can go all in.

I was also struck by the ending of Steve Jobs’ story, especially how he reflected on life and death. It makes you wonder whether all the experiences we gather amount to something beyond us, or if it’s just an on-off switch and everything disappears. Maybe that uncertainty is the point. Maybe that’s why he resisted the idea of a simple “off” switch in his creations. Either way, it’s a reminder that time is limited, and that makes it even more important to chase something meaningful, not just something impressive.
